Meditate, Not Just

Our support service receives inquiries from listeners complaining that a program did not bring the expected result. The person who bought it, just listened to the program, thinking it would work. Unfortunately, no. Let me draw an analogy. You bought a new car and started looking at it hoping it would take you somewhere. When the car went nowhere you called car dealer and complained. Or, you bought an expensive home gym expecting to get an ideal figure just by looking at it.

Let me clarify. Neuroacoustic meditation programs of The Advanced Mind Institute is a tool, but to get somewhere you need to learn driving skills, learn to shift gears.

Yes, there are several programs in the Institute's arsenal you can listen in the background, all other programs require immersion into meditative state, you must stop the mind chatter, concentrate on breathing. Otherwise, they will not work.

It will take you some time to learn the art of meditation. You don’t need a guru or an enlightened teacher, you can master meditation on your own.

It is important to stop the mind chatter and focus on breathing. No other tricks here. Read the article "How to Meditate Properly". It describes the meditation technique in detail. Do not believe you can master the art of meditation only in a remote Tibetan monastery or that only a specially trained hermit monk can teach you. This is not true. You can learn meditation by yourself. There are no secrets or hidden knowledge. Concentrate on breath and tame your rambling mind. Meditation is an amazing self-development tool any person can master.

Neuroacoustic programs are designed to help you achieve a deep meditative state, but they are not "magic pills", you still need to make an effort. It's a tool, a machine, a gym, but to get the results you need to learn at least the simplest basics. When you buy a car you still need to learn how to drive. It is easier with meditation as you do not need to attend a "driving school". You need concentration and willpower.

You will need peace and inner silence for your brain to read the information in a program. If you close your eyes and continue thinking your brain will be busy and will miss the information a neuroacoustic program contains.

We can almost immediately find out when a person simply listens to our programs, and when he or she meditates. Ninety percent of support service calls come from people who do not even try to meditate, they just listen to a pleasant "music" without making any effort. Let's make another analogy. You bought a theoretical physics textbook to study the theory of relativity. You put your favorite soap opera on TV and at the same time you try to read Einstein. The same takes place when you passively listen to neuroacoustic programs while doing something else.

The main problem that you face is concentration. Your mind is fragmented. Your brain gets easily bored. In a couple of minutes, you get restless.
There is a solution. Start small. Try to observe inner silence for a minute, then two or three. Little by little you will learn how to enjoy this state. The meditation programs of The Advanced Mind Institute are not magic pills. They are based on scientific research, each program affects certain areas of the brain, synchronizes the hemispheres, entrains brainwaves. All you need is silence and concentration.
