Description

"Hypnotic Trance" is a sophisticated, new-age program of the Advanced Mind Institute (AMI) based on sonic 3-M technology. It's an ideal program for anyone who is familiar with the meditative programs of AMI and has experience in meditation. The program is designed to facilitate a hypnotic trance, or self-hypnosis. This trance is a special state in which one separates himself from the outside world and can then focus on his psychological processes, which create the "real" world as one perceives it.

The hypnotic trance is distinct from sleep. In fact, it has nothing to do with sleep. Neuro-physiological research has shown the cortex brain works in a special mode that differs from the pattern of sleep and wakefulness. The trance is a unique mental state, and as such it lies between sleep and one's perceptions in the physical world.

The inducement of hypnotic trance has a very positive effect on one's mental well-being. According to the distinguished neuro-physiologist Ernest L. Rossi Ph.D., a trance state has importance equal to sleep in the restructuring of brain function. The more deeply one experiences the trance state or travels inward, the less meaningful the external "reality" becomes. However, in the process the internal experiences and images assume greater importance.

The trance state can be described as a psychologically reasonable escape from reality to a more comfortable context. The trance is the only state in which one can maintain a connection with latent resources. In sleep and in wakefulness, those resources are beyond our perception.

Thus the trance state provides an opportunity to analyze one's experience, correct one's behavior, change one's self-concept and change the nature of one's relationship to others. The trance state is a very powerful adaptogen, as it allows the mind to change in accordance with the conditions. To engage the trance state is to move from the external world to an inner realm. Gradually your attention shifts from the surrounding reality to your own feelings. Suddenly the mind is free from the habitual restrictions you have placed upon it, and with that freedom you can reconsider your experiences, acts and behaviors. The trance creates a new reality, which favors the implementation of positive mental changes.
The major advantage of the trance state is the ability to access resources that are imperceptible during the waking state, even though you might try to concentrate upon a particular problem or difficulty. Thus the primary purpose of the "Hypnotic Trance" program is to provide access to such resources through use of a psychological method referred to as "the resource trance." During the trance state you bring all your awareness to "the places of power," such as the beautiful landscape and mountains. You bring your awareness to the place that has a significantly positive impact on you. When you connect to the places of power, you tap into their energy, despite the fact that you are not there in the physical sense.

The program will take you through the various stages of the trance state, from the shallows to the depths of inner exploration. It depends only on the ability to concentrate on your breathing and to forget about the program itself. It may sound paradoxical, but the program will be most effective if you'll pay less attention to the audio track during your meditation. It is necessary to concentrate not on the program but instead on the breathing. You will then find and use the power places.

You can have more vivid dreams, too, if you work with the program during the night or evening hours. What you'll experience, however, is absolutely normal. There is nothing to worry about. Simply use the program as you settle down, or as you prepare for sleep, and let the positive energy of those power places guide your experience through the land of dreams.

The program comprises three parts: the eight-minute introduction; the active part; and the final eight-minute part, where you'll gradually leave the trance. You will experience deep theta immersion with the active 6.5 Hz frequency during the trance. The 6.5 Hz wave is the central or "anchor" frequency resonating with the central frontal lobes of the cerebrum at an amplitude of 50 to 100 microvolts. The increase in amplitude helps alleviate anxiety, promoting the dismissal of stress from your awareness. That's why the 6.5 Hz wave is the base frequency of the program. Additionally, the program contains specially processed whale vocalizations, which have a very positive impact on the human psychological state./

"Hypnotic Trance" has special features.

The program has some specifics. If you'll observe the following guidelines, you can feel the program results after your very first session.

  • Begin the program on an empty stomach or two hours after a meal.
  • The use of the program will be most beneficial during the active planetary hours. To ensure the best results, you may listen to it during the first day planetary hour and second night planetary hour of your location. The first day planetary hour is the early morning time.   • It's important to be well hydrated as you listen to the program. So, we recommend that you drink a glass of clear water (but no other type of liquid) shortly before the meditation.
  • Avoid any interruption as you work with the program. It could be a good idea to turn off your cell phone and any type of audible or vibratory reminder.
  • It's important to listen to the program at a modest (medium) volume. Playback at high volume will diminish the program's effectiveness. It's a good idea to listen to a short meditation fragment so that you can set the ideal volume before the start of your meditation.
  • Never work with a program while under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants. 
  • If you happen to fall asleep while listening to the program, don't worry. Simply deactivate the auto-repeat function on your player before the start of the session.
  • You can work with the program six days a week. Moreover, "Hypnotic Trance" can be combined with other Advanced Mind Institute programs as long as you take a two- to four-hour break between them.
  • Be sure you're listening to the original program that you have downloaded from the Advanced Mind Institute website. We assume no responsibility for any third-party program.

How does one meditate?

Assume any position that is comfortable for you; one in which your joints and muscles aren't stressed or tensed. Such a position should be one you can maintain for a reasonable amount of time. Close your eyes, and cease your internal chatter. Within a few minutes--usually fewer than ten--your mind and body will relax. It's a pleasant sensation; an experience you will learn to recognize and seek.

Drink a refreshing glass of cool (but not cold) water shortly before your meditation.
